Que Brada at Lighthouse Reef is an intermediate dive site where a dramatic break in the reef wall creates a wide channel connecting the lagoon to the outer drop-off. The channel floor is covered with white sand at 18 meters, creating a natural highway for marine life moving between the shallow lagoon and the deep reef. Large schools of horse-eye jacks and permit use the channel, and nurse sharks rest in the sandy gaps between coral outcrops. The walls of the break are covered with healthy hard corals and colorful sponges, making the swim-through a visual feast from start to finish.
