Cranberry Cove on St. Margarets Bay in Nova Scotia is a beginner-friendly shore dive in a sheltered cove along the bay's scenic coastline. The cove offers calm conditions with a gentle rocky entry leading to a varied underwater landscape of boulders, kelp beds, and sandy clearings. The cold, nutrient-rich waters support typical Nova Scotia marine life — lobsters in nearly every rocky crevice, multiple species of colourful sea stars, and schools of cunner among the kelp. The cove's protected position ensures comfortable diving conditions even when more exposed sites are too rough. A reliable and pleasant shore dive for all skill levels.
