Bonito Gordo near Taganga is a beginner-friendly dive named after the large bonito tuna that sometimes visit this Colombian Caribbean reef. The site features a healthy coral reef with diverse hard coral species, sea fans, and sponge formations. Schools of creole wrasse, blue tangs, and grunts populate the reef, while the sandy areas attract southern stingrays and juvenile fish.
