
La Vigía near Tayrona National Park is a beginner-friendly dive along Colombia's Caribbean coast. Named after the lookout point above, this sheltered reef offers gentle conditions with healthy coral gardens descending over rocky substrate. Tropical fish including parrotfish, damselfish, and wrasses populate the colorful reef, while lobsters and hermit crabs inhabit the rocky crevices. The warm Caribbean waters and good visibility create a welcoming dive environment within the pristine coastal area near one of Colombia's most treasured national parks.
