Cenote Cuba Checoslovaquia is an advanced cenote dive in the Bay of Pigs area on Cuba's southern coast. This freshwater sinkhole, named for the Cuban-Czechoslovak friendship, plunges deep into the limestone bedrock with crystal-clear water offering exceptional visibility. The cenote features dramatic stalactite and stalagmite formations from its dry cave past, with halocline layers where fresh and saltwater mix creating visual distortion effects. The deep vertical profile and confined space require advanced cave or cavern certification and technical diving skills. This unique geological formation offers a completely different diving experience from Cuba's Caribbean reef sites.

Absolutely stunning dive site. The visibility was exceptional and we spotted several species we had never seen before. Will definitely come back.
Great spot for advanced divers. Currents can be tricky but the marine life makes it worth it.
One of the best dive sites in the region. Highly recommended.
