Cyclops is an advanced deep dive to 50 meters near Protaras on Cyprus's southeastern coast. Named for the mythological one-eyed giant, this site features a dramatic underwater cave system with a single large opening that resembles a giant eye when viewed from below. The cave and surrounding deep reef host Mediterranean groupers, barracuda, and dense schools of damselfish. The rocky walls are covered with sponges and Mediterranean marine growth. The extreme depth and cave environment require technical diving qualifications and experience, making Cyclops one of Cyprus's most challenging and legendary dive sites for those with the proper training and equipment.
