Roman Harbour is an advanced dive site located near Protaras on Cyprus's southeastern coast. This historically rich site features ancient Roman port remnants scattered across a rocky seabed, with stone blocks and archaeological artifacts creating an underwater museum. The terrain includes swim-throughs between old harbour structures colonized by sponges, sea fans, and colorful tunicates. Divers can encounter moray eels hiding in crevices, octopus, damselfish, and occasional barracuda patrolling the area. The combination of history and marine biodiversity makes this a truly unique Mediterranean dive.
