Zephiros is an advanced dive site in northern Cyprus, reaching depths of 33 meters. This exposed site features rugged underwater topography with deep canyons, pinnacles, and dramatic swim-throughs carved by centuries of wave action. The rock surfaces are covered with vibrant sponge gardens, cup corals, and delicate hydroids. Nutrient-rich currents attract impressive marine life including schools of amberjack, barracuda, and occasional eagle rays. Large groupers and dentex patrol the deeper sections, while nudibranchs and flatworms add color to the walls. The site's depth, current exposure, and remote location demand experienced divers, but the reward is some of the finest diving in Cyprus's less-explored northern waters.
