Daphne is an advanced dive site around the volcanic islets of Daphne Major and Minor in the central Galápagos, reaching 18 meters. Strong currents funnel between the islands, creating a feeding highway for large pelagics. Hammerhead sharks, Galápagos sharks, and enormous schools of barracuda are regularly encountered. The volcanic walls are home to red-lipped batfish and Galápagos garden eels. The exposed, current-prone location makes this a thrilling dive for experienced divers seeking classic Galápagos big-animal action.
