North Seymour Island is an advanced dive site in the central Galápagos, reaching 18 meters along current-swept volcanic walls. This nutrient-rich channel between North Seymour and Baltra attracts incredible concentrations of marine life. Schooling hammerhead sharks are the main draw, often seen in formations of dozens. Galápagos sea lions hunt in the currents alongside white-tip reef sharks and spotted eagle rays. The strong, unpredictable currents demand solid experience, but the sheer density of marine encounters makes this a bucket-list Galápagos dive.
