El Gilwa

El Gilwa is an advanced dive site near Hurghada reaching 30 meters, featuring a reef system with interesting topography including channels, overhangs, and small caves. The reef is known for its healthy coral diversity and good fish populations despite being close to the heavily dived Hurghada area. Moray eels, groupers, and lionfish inhabit the reef's crevices, while the deeper sections attract barracuda and jacks. A solid intermediate-to-advanced site that offers consistent quality diving throughout the year.
