Marsa Assalaya is an advanced bay dive near Marsa Alam reaching 40 meters, a less-visited gem offering pristine reef conditions. The bay features sheltered coral gardens in the shallows transitioning to dramatic wall diving on the outer edges. The reef benefits from limited diver traffic, with healthier corals and more approachable marine life than busier sites. Turtles, Napoleon wrasses, and eagle rays are common encounters. A favorite among local dive guides for its unspoiled character and reliable marine encounters.
