
Marsa Egla is a beginner-friendly bay dive near Marsa Alam with a protected sandy inlet surrounded by coral reefs. The bay acts as a natural amphitheater, with reef walls on both sides creating a channel that funnels marine life. Turtles, rays, and occasional dolphins pass through the bay. The coral cover on the walls is impressive, with large gorgonian fans and barrel sponges at depth. The calm, shallow center of the bay is ideal for training dives and night dive experiences.

Absolutely stunning dive site. The visibility was exceptional and we spotted several species we had never seen before. Will definitely come back.
Great spot for advanced divers. Currents can be tricky but the marine life makes it worth it.
