Makabi is an advanced dive site in the Hamata offshore reefs, featuring a dramatic reef structure with sheer walls dropping into the abyss. The site is known for its exceptional soft coral coverage, with walls painted in every shade of purple, orange, and red. Strong currents bring large pelagic species close to the reef, including hammerheads during the right season. The remote location ensures pristine conditions rarely seen elsewhere. Accessible only by liveaboard, Makabi is a bucket-list dive for Red Sea enthusiasts.
