Skawarit

Skawarit is an advanced offshore reef in the Hamata area known for its pristine condition and exciting pelagic encounters. The reef rises from deep water and is swept by strong currents that attract schools of sharks, barracuda, and jacks. The walls feature impressive overhangs with dense soft coral growth and large gorgonian fans. The reef top is a colorful garden of hard and soft corals where turtles and Napoleon wrasses reside. One of the wilder dive sites in Egypt's southern Red Sea frontier.
