Umm Gamar is an intermediate dive site at a large offshore reef north of Hurghada in Egypt's Red Sea. The reef island rises from deep water, creating walls and overhangs covered in spectacular soft corals. Dolphins are regularly spotted in the area, sometimes joining divers underwater. The current-swept northern point attracts schooling fish, barracuda, and the occasional hammerhead shark. The combination of dolphin sightings, vibrant coral walls, and pelagic encounters makes Umm Gamar one of Hurghada's most exciting boat dive destinations.

Absolutely stunning dive site. The visibility was exceptional and we spotted several species we had never seen before. Will definitely come back.
Great spot for advanced divers. Currents can be tricky but the marine life makes it worth it.
One of the best dive sites in the region. Highly recommended.
