Sha'ab Iris is an intermediate dive site north of Hurghada in Egypt's Red Sea, named after a dive boat. The reef features dramatic walls dropping into deep blue water, covered in dense soft coral growth. Schools of snappers, fusiliers, and unicornfish aggregate along the wall, while the reef top hosts cleaning stations where turtles and groupers queue for attention. The moderate currents and depth make it suitable for confident certified divers seeking a step up from the easier Hurghada sites.
