Sha'ab Marsa Alam is a large reef system just offshore from the town of Marsa Alam, accessible by short boat ride. This beginner-to-intermediate site features a sprawling reef top with excellent hard coral coverage and a gentle slope on all sides. The site is famous for its resident green turtles and frequent dolphin encounters in the surrounding waters. Large schools of snappers and goatfish forage along the reef edge. The reef's size means multiple dive profiles are possible, from shallow coral garden explorations to deeper wall dives.
