Middle Reef is an intermediate-level offshore dive site between Safaga's inner and outer reef systems. The reef forms an elongated structure with a shallow top garden and sloping walls on both sides. Hard corals dominate the plateau while soft corals and gorgonians flourish on the walls. Barracuda schools circle above the reef, and eagle rays are frequently seen cruising the deeper sections. The site offers a good balance of reef scenery and pelagic action, making it a versatile choice for most diving conditions.
