Habili Ali is one of the most famous advanced dive sites in the Saint Johns region, a small submerged reef rising to within a few meters of the surface from extremely deep water. The sheer walls are covered in breathtaking soft coral gardens with colors rivaling any reef on earth. Habili Ali is legendary for its hammerhead shark encounters, particularly during early morning dives when large schools gather at depth. Grey reef sharks, silvertips, and oceanic whitetips are also regularly seen. This is widely considered one of the top ten dive sites in the entire Red Sea.
