North Passage is a beginner-friendly dive site in the Strait of Gubal, Egypt's Red Sea, located at a natural channel between reef formations. The passage creates gentle currents that bring nutrients and attract marine life. Healthy coral gardens line both sides of the channel, with table corals and brain corals dominating. Turtles, butterflyfish, and blue-spotted stingrays are common inhabitants. The easy depth and natural channel navigation make it a comfortable dive for less experienced divers exploring the Gubal area.
