Alegranza is an advanced dive site off the uninhabited island of Alegranza in the Chinijo Archipelago, north of Lanzarote. Reaching 18 meters depth, this remote site offers pristine diving around one of the Canary Islands' most untouched volcanic formations. The underwater landscape features dramatic basalt walls, arches, and swim-throughs teeming with marine life protected by the archipelago's nature reserve status. Large groupers, barracuda, and amberjack are abundant, while angel sharks rest on the sandy patches and sea turtles cruise through the crystal-clear waters. The remote boat access, potential currents, and exposed Atlantic position make Alegranza suitable for experienced divers seeking truly wild Canarian diving.
