
Cuevas de Cantarriján is an advanced dive site near La Herradura on Spain's Costa Tropical, featuring a dramatic cave system carved into the limestone cliffs. The caves offer atmospheric diving with light effects penetrating through openings, illuminating the rocky walls covered in sponges and anemones. Conger eels, moray eels, and lobsters inhabit the darker recesses. Outside the caves, the Mediterranean reef hosts diverse fish life including groupers and bream. Requires overhead environment experience.
