El Meridian

El Meridian is an advanced dive site off the southwestern coast of Tenerife near Palm-Mar, offering deep volcanic reef diving in the Atlantic. The site features a prominent volcanic ridge running perpendicular to the coast, its walls and overhangs hosting an impressive array of deep-water marine life. Black coral colonies, large gorgonian fans, and bright sponges decorate the walls, while the deeper zones attract amberjack, barracuda, and occasionally whale sharks during seasonal migrations. Resident groupers and moray eels guard the numerous cavities, and eagle rays sweep along the reef edge. The depth, currents, and offshore location demand strong dive skills and experience.
