Harbour Wrecks is an advanced deep dive site off Puerto del Carmen harbor in Lanzarote, featuring multiple sunken vessels resting at depths down to 40 meters. These wrecks have been intentionally sunk to create an artificial reef complex and diving attraction, and the metal structures have become richly colonized by marine growth. Large moray eels, conger eels, and groupers inhabit the wrecks' interiors, while dense schools of barracuda and jacks circle above. The deeper wrecks are draped in sponges and hydroids, creating eerie but beautiful scenes. The significant depth, potential currents, and overhead environments demand advanced certification, proper gas planning, and wreck diving experience.
