La Torre Cable is an advanced dive site near Marbella on the Costa del Sol, reaching 14 meters depth around the remains of an old cable tower structure. Despite its moderate depth, the site is rated advanced due to potential currents and reduced visibility common in this area. The tower ruins create an artificial reef that attracts Mediterranean species including moray eels, octopuses, and schools of bream. The structure's metalwork is encrusted with sponges, mussels, and sea squirts, while the surrounding sandy areas host flatfish and occasional cuttlefish. The historical industrial artifact adds interest to the biological diversity, creating a distinctive dive along the Malaga coastline.
