Montaña Amarilla

Montaña Amarilla is an intermediate dive site off southern Tenerife near Costa del Silencio, reaching 20 meters depth beneath the distinctive yellow volcanic mountain visible from shore. The underwater extension of this volcanic formation creates a dramatic seascape of yellow-tinged rock formations, overhangs, and sandy channels. Green sea turtles are frequently sighted here, along with schools of barracuda, trumpetfish, and large groupers. The unique yellow coloring of the volcanic substrate creates a distinctive underwater atmosphere unlike any other Tenerife dive site. Moderate depth and occasional currents make this suitable for intermediate divers seeking a visually unique diving experience.
