Punta Maravilla

Punta Maravilla is a beautiful dive site off the southwestern coast of Tenerife near Playa de las Américas, offering stunning volcanic reef diving. This beginner-friendly site features a rocky coastline that continues underwater as a series of ridges, boulders, and sand channels hosting abundant Canarian marine life. Green sea turtles are frequently spotted here, grazing on algae alongside parrotfish and ornate wrasse. The volcanic rock formations shelter octopuses, moray eels, and colorful nudibranchs, while trumpetfish and barracuda hover in the water column. The site's sheltered position and moderate depths make it accessible to all levels, with warm waters and good visibility throughout the year.
