Piedra del Hombre is a beginner-friendly dive site off La Herradura on the Costa Tropical, reaching 18 meters depth around a distinctive rock formation named 'stone of the man.' The submerged boulder serves as a natural gathering point for Mediterranean marine life, with its surface covered in sponges, algae, and small anemones. Moray eels peer from the rock's crevices, while octopuses, nudibranchs, and sea stars populate the surrounding substrate. Schools of bream, damselfish, and wrasse add movement to every dive. The moderate depth, sheltered bay position, and easy navigation around the central rock make Piedra del Hombre an excellent site for building dive experience on the Costa Tropical.
