Klaus Oldendorff is an advanced wreck dive in the Gulf of Finland, featuring the remains of a German cargo ship that sank during World War II. The large vessel rests in deep Baltic waters, its hull and superstructure creating an impressive underwater monument to maritime history. The cold, brackish Baltic conditions have preserved much of the wreck's structure, with intact features visible throughout. Blue mussels carpet the surfaces, and cod shelter within the holds. This historically significant dive requires deep diving certification, dry suit proficiency, and careful planning due to depth, cold temperatures, and potential currents.
