Miil Channel is an intermediate channel dive off Yap, Micronesia, where another of the island's reef passes serves as a highway for manta rays and other large marine life. The channel's cleaning stations attract mantas on a regular basis, with divers taking position at established viewing spots to watch the rays arrive for grooming sessions. The channel walls host healthy coral communities, and the current brings schools of fish including fusiliers, surgeonfish, and jacks. Grey reef sharks frequently patrol the channel entrance. Miil Channel offers a slightly different manta experience than Main Channel, with opportunities for closer encounters in a more intimate setting.
