Bial

Bial is an advanced cave diving site in the Midi-Pyrénées, France, featuring a submerged siphon in the Pyrenean limestone karst. The site demands full cave diving qualifications and proper redundant equipment for safe exploration of the overhead environment. Crystal-clear spring water provides excellent visibility within the passages, revealing sculpted limestone walls and geological formations created by millennia of water erosion. The tight passages and cold water (8-10°C) add to the technical challenge.
