Durdle Door is a spectacular dive site on the Dorset Jurassic Coast, centered around the famous natural limestone arch that is one of England's most iconic coastal landmarks. Diving through and around the arch provides a unique experience combining geological wonder with marine exploration. The rocky seabed around the arch hosts lobsters, wrasse, conger eels, and various crustaceans, while the deeper water beyond reveals sandy stretches and occasional visiting species. The advanced rating reflects challenging shore access down steep cliffs, exposure to English Channel swells, and tidal currents. Conditions must be calm for safe diving. When the sea cooperates, Durdle Door offers an unforgettable dive through one of the UK's most photographed natural features, set within a UNESCO World Heritage coastline.
