Dragon Bay is a sheltered beginner-friendly dive site on Grenada's southwest coast, featuring a healthy coral reef in a calm bay with excellent visibility. The site gets its name from the rocky promontory that shelters the bay, creating ideal conditions for new divers and snorkelers. The reef hosts typical Caribbean species including parrotfish, surgeonfish, damselfish, and trumpet fish, along with sea turtles that frequently graze on the sea grass beds nearby. Moray eels and lobsters hide in the reef crevices, while cleaning stations provide entertaining fish behavior to observe. Dragon Bay's combination of easy conditions, rich marine life, and beautiful tropical setting makes it one of Grenada's most popular introductory dive sites.
