Tyrrel Bay is a dive site off the southwestern coast of Carriacou, Grenada, located near the island's main anchorage and marine center. The bay's coral reefs and rocky formations descend into deeper water, creating diverse habitats for Caribbean marine life. The advanced rating reflects currents that can develop around the bay's headlands. Hard coral gardens, sea fans, and sponge-covered walls host parrotfish, surgeonfish, moray eels, and hawksbill turtles. The bay serves as a hub for Carriacou's dive operations, and the proximity to deeper offshore sites makes it a convenient starting point for exploration of the Grenadines' underwater world.
