Kyra Leni Wreck is a beginner-accessible wreck dive in the Attica region near the island of Kea, southeast of Athens. This coastal vessel rests at shallow depth on a sandy seabed, making it one of the most approachable wrecks in the area. The compact structure is easy to navigate, with the hull and deck clearly identifiable despite decades of marine colonization. Colourful sponges and anemones cover every surface, while damselfish, blennies, and small groupers have made the wreck their home. Octopus frequently shelter under the hull plates. The clear Aegean waters provide good visibility, and the shallow profile allows extended bottom times. A great introduction to wreck diving near Athens.
