SS Eleni is an advanced wreck dive near the island of Kea in the Attica region, featuring the remains of the steamship Eleni that sank off this coast. The wreck rests at significant depth, with the hull and structural elements providing interesting exploration opportunities. Marine life has extensively colonized the vessel: sponges, gorgonians, and hydroids cover every surface, while groupers, moray eels, and conger eels inhabit the interior spaces. Schools of anthias add colour around the superstructure. The clear Aegean waters provide good visibility for appreciating the wreck's scale. The depth demands advanced certification and careful gas management. A notable historic wreck dive in the waters near Athens.
