3 Rocks is a beginner-friendly dive site near Santorini in the Cyclades, named for three distinctive rock formations that break the surface near the dive centre. Underwater, these rocks extend into the volcanic seabed, creating overhangs, small caves, and swimthroughs at accessible depths. The volcanic rock substrate supports unique Santorini marine life adapted to the mineral-rich environment. Wrasse, damselfish, and blennies dart between the formations, while octopus shelter in the volcanic crevices. The three rocks serve as natural navigation points, making orientation straightforward even for new divers. With Santorini's legendary water clarity, this site offers a memorable first dive experience in a volcanic underwater setting.
