Ios Shipwreck is an advanced wreck dive near the island of Ios in the Cyclades, with the wreck lying at 18 meters — relatively shallow for a wreck dive but still rated advanced due to the wreck penetration opportunities and current exposure. The vessel's compact structure is well-colonized by Cycladic marine life, with sponges and anemones covering the hull. Schools of damselfish swirl around the superstructure while octopus and moray eels inhabit the interior. The exceptional Cycladic visibility allows the entire wreck to be appreciated from a distance. The shallow depth allows extended exploration time. A rewarding wreck dive made even more special by Ios's famous crystal-clear waters.
