House Reef - Wall is a beginner-friendly dive at a dive centre's house reef near Santorini in the Cyclades. The wall section of this house reef features a gently descending rock face decorated with volcanic sponges, anemones, and encrusting organisms unique to Santorini's volcanic geology. The dark volcanic rock creates a dramatic backdrop against the bright Mediterranean marine life. Wrasse, damselfish, and blennies populate the crevices, while octopus shelter in the volcanic rock holes. The exceptional Santorini water clarity provides stunning visibility.
