Agios Georgios Pinnacle is an advanced dive site near the Sporades islands in the western Aegean, featuring a dramatic underwater pinnacle rising from the deep seabed. The pinnacle's steep walls and exposed position create ideal conditions for encountering large pelagic species. Dense gorgonian forests and colourful sponge gardens cover the vertical surfaces, while strong currents bring schools of amberjack, dentex, and barracuda sweeping past. Large groupers defend their territories in the caves and overhangs, and eagle rays occasionally glide through. The pinnacle's 360-degree exposure to currents means conditions can be challenging, requiring confident buoyancy and drift diving skills. A premier advanced dive in the Sporades region.

Absolutely stunning dive site. The visibility was exceptional and we spotted several species we had never seen before. Will definitely come back.
Great spot for advanced divers. Currents can be tricky but the marine life makes it worth it.
One of the best dive sites in the region. Highly recommended.
