Calypso is a beginner-friendly dive site in the Cyclades islands of Greece, likely near Paros or Antiparos. Named after the mythical nymph of Greek legend, this site offers an enchanting underwater experience in the crystal-clear Aegean waters. The dive features a gently sloping reef with white sand, colourful rock formations, and scattered Posidonia seagrass beds. Mediterranean marine life thrives here: ornate wrasse, rainbow wrasse, damselfish, and sea bream are common, along with octopus and cuttlefish. The exceptional visibility typical of the Cyclades creates a sense of flying over the underwater landscape. Calm conditions and moderate depth make it welcoming for all experience levels.
