Taxiarxis Reef is a deep advanced dive site off Evia's northern coast, plunging to 40 meters along a dramatic underwater ridge. The reef structure rises from the seabed with walls encrusted in red and yellow gorgonians, while large groupers and dentex patrol the deeper sections. Strong currents can sweep nutrients across the site, attracting schools of amberjack and barracuda. The combination of depth, current, and abundant pelagic action makes it a premier deep dive in the North Euboean Gulf.
