Thermal Spring - Ilia Village

Thermal Spring at Ilia Village is a unique advanced dive off northern Evia, reaching 35 meters near underwater geothermal vents. The site combines conventional Aegean reef diving with the rare experience of diving near warm water springs that bubble up from the volcanic substrate. The thermal influence creates unusual microhabitats where thermophilic bacteria form colorful mats alongside conventional Mediterranean marine life. Groupers, moray eels, and nudibranchs populate the surrounding reef, making this one of Evia's most distinctive and scientifically fascinating dive sites.
