Vromoneri Reef is a beginner-friendly shallow dive in the Messenia region of the Peloponnese, reaching 12 meters over a colorful Mediterranean reef. The rocky substrate supports healthy communities of sponges, sea fans, and encrusting algae, while crevices harbor octopuses, moray eels, and spiny sea urchins. Schools of damselfish and saddled bream patrol the reef crest, and the calm coastal waters provide reliable visibility for easy, enjoyable diving along the western Peloponnese coast.

Absolutely stunning dive site. The visibility was exceptional and we spotted several species we had never seen before. Will definitely come back.
Great spot for advanced divers. Currents can be tricky but the marine life makes it worth it.
One of the best dive sites in the region. Highly recommended.
