Samos Panagias Rock (Wreck) is an advanced dive site near the Panagias rocks off the northeast coast of Samos. The remains of a vessel that struck these treacherous rocks now lie on the seabed, creating an impressive wreck dive combined with dramatic rocky reef terrain. The wreck structure has become an artificial reef teeming with life: large groupers claim sections of the hull, moray eels inhabit the holds, and the metalwork is encrusted with sponges, tunicates, and hydroids. The surrounding Panagias rocks feature walls, overhangs, and caves that add to the dive's variety. Currents can be significant around the rocks, demanding good experience. A top-tier dive combining wreck and reef exploration.
