American Tanker is an advanced deep dive in Guam's Apra Harbor, featuring a large WWII-era fuel tanker resting at 40 meters on the harbor floor. The massive vessel is one of the largest diveable wrecks on Guam, with its hull providing an enormous artificial reef structure. The tanker's deck and superstructure are now covered in coral gardens, while the interior shelters large schools of snapper and soldierfish. Due to the depth and size of the wreck, this dive requires careful planning and gas management, but rewards experienced wreck divers with an unforgettable piece of Pacific War history.
