Val Bomber is an advanced historical dive site in Guam's Apra Harbor, featuring a sunken WWII Japanese Aichi D3A Val dive bomber resting at 30 meters. The aircraft is remarkably well-preserved, with its propeller, wings, and fuselage still recognizable beneath a coat of coral and sponge growth. The surrounding sandy bottom hosts garden eels and stingrays, while the plane itself attracts schools of snapper and the occasional curious turtle. This poignant reminder of the Pacific War is one of Guam's most historically significant and moving underwater attractions.
