SMS Cormoran is a historically extraordinary advanced dive in Guam's Apra Harbor, featuring a WWI German commerce raider scuttled in 1917 at 37 meters. The vessel was sunk by its own crew when the United States entered the war, making it the first German ship captured in WWI. The wreck's steel structure has become a thriving artificial reef, with massive coral colonies, sea fans, and dense fish populations. Lying adjacent to the WWII-era Tokai Maru, this site offers the unique distinction of being the world's only dive where wrecks from both world wars can be explored on a single dive.
