Bear's Den is an advanced wall dive off Roatán's northern coast, descending to 30 meters along a reef wall featuring a large cavern-like overhang. The den provides shelter for nurse sharks, large groupers, and green moray eels that make this their permanent home. The surrounding wall is decorated with impressive barrel sponges, black coral branches, and purple sea fans. Schools of horse-eye jacks patrol the wall edge, while the shallow reef crest above hosts a lively coral garden with abundant butterflyfish, angelfish, and cleaning shrimp stations.
